Hector’s interest in music were initiated by bands from the classic rock era, and it was the guitar playing of artists such as Cat Stevens and Jim Croce that motivated him to pick up the guitar.

From a very young age, Hector started to perform live as a solo artist, and then went on to form a band with high school friends that, to this day, continue to perform live shows.

It was in his early years of becoming a guitar player that Hector started writing his own songs, some of which have already been recorded and he is currently working to assemble the best of his compositions for the release of his first album.
